I'd like to sincerely thank each and every one of you who commented or e-mailed me on the last post.
In an effort to clarify, I did NOT shut Anonymous down because she disagreed with me. He/She was shut down because she failed to show any respect in trying to make her points (and can't spell worth a lick.)
Name calling, I'm good with. Name calling because you don't agree with me and when I ask you if you'd explain why you disagree your solution is to... name call. Really?
I've e-mailed several of the Biological Mom's who have commented or e-mailed me in the past. I thanked them for stopping by and made note of the fact that I'd love their prospectives on the way that I address things. I mean that. In all honesty.
There are always three sides to every story (His, Hers and the Truth) and this blog is my side. If you'd like your side heard, I'd suggest starting a blog. I welcome healthy conversations in which someone opens my eyes to a possibility, situation, or feeling that I hadn't considered. I'm even good when a reader points out where I'm incorrect. The only thing I ask is that you deliver your point(s) with respect, and a spell check wouldn't hurt, (it's Whore, not hore- got that?)
So we're done with that nutty bitch (see, name calling...) and we'll resume regularly scheduled blogging tomorrow.

- I am Minnie. I love my life and almost all the people in it! I have 2 bonus babies, Daffy (17, Boy) and Daisy (14, Girl). I have 2 dogs named after cocktails, a full-time, quasi-professional job that I love, an amazing, intrusive family, and a house that always smells like Clorox and garlic. This blog is a taste of all of the above as they relate to my day to day activities while I keep myself sane in the act of raising other parent's children.

I'm a biological mom and I don't see a problem with how you handle things. Giving birth to or donating sperm to a child does not qualify you to be a parent. See the article in the Ft. Worth and Dallas papers about the parents that murdered their 8 month old daughter and dumped her in Lake Lewisville if anyone needs that point proven. My ex is a sperm donor. He doesn't pay support, call his kids, or even let them have his phone number. He hasn't sent them a birthday card or Chrismas card in 11 years. But, if you ask him - he's parent of the year. My view point would differ slightly from his.
Keep writing Minnie- Sorry you had some ignorant idiot bothering you on your own blog. If she disliked it that much- there is that little red x in the corner. I doubt anyone was standing there with a gun making her read what you write.
I didn't comment on the last one but I really enjoyed how you handled anonymous, and I don't mean in just an entertained way. I mean in a down to business fed up way. I would have done the same thing. Good for you. And you're totally right in there being three sides to the story. If only more people were open to looking at all of them.

One of the hardest things I have come across in the blogosphere are Mom's that generalize that all birth dad's are worthless.
I think I relate to your blog because we are both in a situation where that's not true.
It's refreshing and you handled this situation perfectly.
